Scant scientific evidence shows that this fasting will cleanse and detox the body. But, it is not entirely true. The truth is human liver, kidneys, and digestive systems are designed to clean the body of waste. So, there is no need to apply juice fasting to detox the body. For some people, the calorie restriction may cause happiness or euphoria, but in a few days, “fasting” is not actually a good way for the body. It can cause as same as nutritional deficiencies.

If you remain to want to do any type of “fasting”, you should consult your doctor first. For most people, a juice fasting is harmless for a few days. But, for others, it may be dangerous. If you are a pregnant woman, breastfeeding woman, or elderly this juice fasting or cleansing is not recommended, especially for individuals with certain health conditions like diabetes mellitus or any metabolic disorder.
